Kababaihan Festival
In connection with Women’s Month celebration, different women’s organizations had gathered to show the people the importance of women in the world. Women’s groups from different Barangays had participated. Over a thousand of participants had made it in order to give honor to the celebration of Women’s Month.
In coordination with the City Government of Baguio, National Government Agencies and ROGFP and City GAD Focal Persons, Non-Government, LGU’s, Barangay Women’s Organizations and City GAD Focal Persons Kabalikat Civicom Assisted the parade from Banco de Oro to Convention Center. Traffic situation had been properly manage in different places. Several instances had been reported such as the lack of cooperation of some red plate cars and hot headed drivers. The parade took almost two hours that caused heavy traffic and made the Central Business District a busy place for the motorists.
Generally, the parade had been done successfully. The endpoint of the parade was held in Convention Center were people had grouped together and presented the awarding of Ten Outstanding Women Leaders and Best Performing Barangay Women’s Organizations of 2011. With the full-hearted support of Kabalikat Civicom to the women in the world, our volunteer action was dedicated to our loving Mother, Lolas, Sisters, and to all women in the world!

Fun Run
Fun Run for a cause makes the Kabalikat Civicom inspired to take the responsibility to assist them with the direction of the participants. There are three major help for this event: It helps to the nature especially to the trees as the participants contributes an oxygen; It helps to the physical body of the participants as they do the running; It helps to other people as proceeds of this event.
Kabalikat Civicom alone took the responsibility to guide in different places from start to finish with 3k, 5k and 10k run. They also provided a mobile group to supervise and watch the situations of participants.
All in all, the Fun Run Event was another mission accomplished by the group. It started at 3:00am and finished at 9am. Kabalikat Civicom is expecting for the next year’s event or even next coming months for another Fun Run for a cause.

Panagbenga Festival
In celebration of Panagbenga Festival 2011, different organizations in Baguio City had submitted a letter of intent to voluntarily give their services as a part of their purpose of helping people. Kabalikat Civicom believes that serving humanity is serving God as its main purpose. In this regard, the full support of Kabalikat Civicom 22, 23, 264, 259 Chapters in Panagbenga Festival Celebration had been dedicated together with the different chapters from lowland such as Kabalikat Dagupan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Muntinlupa and etc...
The area of responsibilities of Kabalikat Civicom is in the “O” shape of maharlika, Hotel Veniz and Igorot Garden. February 26 and 27 2011 had been a very busy day for Session Road. Grand Street Parade for the first day and Grand Float Parade for the Second day. Operatives started to operate at early 4:00 in the morning. The whole Session Road was covered down to Harrizon Road until it reached the Athletic Bowl.
With the help of Kabalikat Muntinlupa Health Care Group with their ambulance, emergency cases had been facilitated. Reports such as the caught of Pocket Pickers, rescuing and emergency cases, crowd control, and etc. had been accomplished.
Even though TV Patrol had reported an issue of being arrogant of COM groups of Baguio and Kabalikat operatives were captured City government of Baguio gave their gratitude to all of the accomplishments Kabalikat had performed. Later on ABS-CBN sent their sorry for what they have reported and explained about the error.
Generally, whatever happened in that two days of operation still the serving humanity is the main issue to serve God. National founder Tatay Gil dela torre was there to support and witness the success of the group. Two thumbs up to Kabalikat Civicom!

Pangbenga 2011
The City Government of Baguio formally announced the opening of the 2011 Baguio Flower Festival last November 2010. Kablikat Civicom had passed a letter of Intent on the said celebration.
The 2011 Baguio Flower Festival is popularly known as the Panagbenga Festival 2011 and one of the much awaited festivals in the Philippines. Every year, the Panagbenga Festival celebration is always full of colorful expectations and surprises in its presentation and substance. Tourists from different countries travel to the Philippines just to witness this one of a kind flower festival.
The theme of the Panagbenga Flower Festival is “The Environment and Community in Harmony.” This festival is recognized as one of the most celebrated festivals in the country. People can see hundreds of street dancers performing in the main roads of Baguio City. One of the much awaited events in the festival is the Flower Float Festival wherein a lot of fresh flowers from the city will be used to decorate floats and will represent various organizations in Baguio City.

The launch of Pangbenga 2011 has already been announced last November 16, 2010. The Grand Opening Parade will be held on February 1, 2011. Market Encounter will start from the opening parade, which is February 1, 2011, until March 6, 2011. The “Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom” event will be held on February 12, 2011 and the Pre-Valentine Event and Fluvial Float Parade will be held on February 13, 2011.
The “Grand Panagbenga Street Parade” will happen on February 26 and the Grand Float Parade will be on February 27. Session Road in Bloom will start on February 28 and will end on March 6. Pony Boys day will be on March 2 and the Central North Luzon Tourism Fair will be on March 3. The Grand Closing Ceremony and Grand Fireworks Display (Flowers in the Sky) will be on March 6, 2011.
People who are interested to participate and visit the event must take note of the said activities. The highlight of the Flower Festival 2011 will be on February 26, 2011 wherein the Grand Street Parade will happen. A lot of tourist will visit the Philippines Summer Capital for this much awaited event. The parade will feature the native Ibalois Dancers. These dancers are usually made up of young and old dancing through Baguio’s main thoroughfares.

Kabalikat Civicom Joins the “Spring Festival 2011”
In aiming to inspire the ethnic Chinese community to integrate and showcase the richness culture of Chinese community in Baguio City Spring Festival is done annually with the full support of the city government. The 2011 Chinese Lunar New Year highlights the Year of the Metal Rabbit which is said to be a peaceful year.
The Chinese lunar New Year celebration which has become an institutional activity based on an ordinance is the city’s way of recognizing the contributions of the Chinese which is instrumental in strengthening the ties between the Filipinos and the Chinese.
In Connection with these, to show the concern and belongingness of Kabalikat Civicom they intended to support this particular event by taking care the crowd control along the front of McDonalds Session Road up to the front of Pines Hotel.
Although minimal reports were reported and advised as the “Media (Kuno) pasaways” interrupted the good flow of operative services the operation of Kabalikat Civicom had been successfully took care.
